FIFTH fastes lap at Willow Springs is as good as it gets for 2015 Corvette C7 Z06!!!

With all the hype that continues to come out from +General Motors , douchebag +Tadge Juechter and single digit IQ Corvette flunkies, the new world order at Willow Springs is beyond funny.

Considering all the bullshit Juechter keeps feeding the masses, one would think that the newest flagship would be setting not just a new record at Willow Springs but one that leaves a "million dollars worth" distance between the Z06 and the other contenders.

Maybe there is a problem with Randy Pobst?  Must be a conspiracy involving this driver, even though he is usually a Corvette and GM nuthugger himself... Hmmm...  What could be another explanation for the fact that the newest Z06 managed to score the FIFTH PLACE on that track?

No way that shitty aerodynamics, excessive oversteer, heat soak and engine overheating problems could be blamed!!! Must be the driver, he apparently must be another Corvette hater!!!

What makes this newest humiliation particularly embarrassing is the fact that only two seconds separate this heat soaked porker from the last ZR1 that was ran on that track in 2008.  And even bigger embarrassment?  The Z06 is not even close to the PREVIOUS GENERATION of Dodge Viper ACR.  For the ultimate and most track capable Corvette ever, this car certainly performance like a real piece of shit, raising serious concerns regarding its pricing, like in GM ripping the buyers off instead of giving them a bargain.  Luckily for GM, the intelligence of the C7 Z06 buyers leaves no doubt that lobotomy would be simply a cosmetic procedure for them.

  1. how is it embarassing to beat the previous ZR1 by only two seconds? that still makes it the quickest corvette on that track so far (of course it's not an apples-to-apples comparison but unless driven on the same day with equal tires it's never going to be).

    1. Look at the difference between the lap times at Nurburgring for PDE and non PDE Corvette ZR1 to see why this is embarrassing (no PDE in 2009 ZR1)

  2. The ZR1 was running Michelin PS2 run flats,The C7-ZO6,was running Michelin Pilot Cup 2s,a very sticky slick. The Pilot Cup 2s are worth 2 seconds faster, easy, probably more.Thats why its an embarrassment.

  3. It is still not a bad time, I would like to see the car run several laps and see how bad it slows down after the heat builds up. The question is did they have heaters on the tires and dry ice on the intake to get that time?

  4. I would not be surprised if there was another practice car before running the single run to record the time, LOL
