Announced today, pricing for the upcoming high performance Mustangs GT350 and GT350R (and in this case, the "R" doesn't stand for vinyl striping rice): $47,870 for GT350 and the GT350R will open up at $61,370.
Options wise, the Technology Package retails at $7,500, the Track Package comes in at $6,500, and the Electronics Package retails at $3,000.
As it stands, the horsepower for the new hi po Stangs hovers between 540 and 550 and knowing Ford, the estimates are on the conservative side.
So what does this mean for the Corvette Stingray and Z06? What it means is the jig is up for the latest generation of Corvette and Ford made sure this is the case long before the newest Ford GT is out.
Ironically enough, the new GT350R is advertised as the most track capable Ford vehicle ever-sounds familiar?
Disclaimer: even though bow tie flavored kool aid drinking numbnuts like to compare Mustangs to Camaros, in the case of GT350 duo, there are only two seats (real racing seats), with Ford taking direct aim at Corvette and doing exemplary job at that.
As already mentioned in this blog, Ford is considerably more competent designing track oriented cars, delivering CONTINOUS AND CONSISTENT performance and delivering necessary and performance oriented technologies unlike the idiot +Tadge Juechter trusted by +General Motors with developing the MOST TRACK CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER.

Ford makes better motors, than Garbage Motors
