Apparently this is no longer the case? For 2016, according to the official press release,
2016 CORVETTE Z06 IS THE MOST CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER
When the Z06 rejoined the Corvette lineup in 2015 as the most capable model in the car’s long, storied history, it also joined an elite fraternity of the world’s most capable supercars. It returns for 2016, offering more choices for personalization to complement its world-class levels of performance – including an all-new C7.R Edition. Blah blah blah...So what happened here? What happened to the MOST TRACK CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER?
What the fuck Tadge, even the 2015 website description identify the flagship as the most track capable, just says it is TRACK CAPABLE...
Enjoy eating the crow Tadge and suck it up since apparently the PREVIOUS GENERATION C6 is still the MOST TRACK CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER.
A couple of points here:
1. What does exactly THE MOST CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER mean? Capable of what exactly? Taking shit at will? Shredding tires at the drag strip? Does the flagship make the AARP members dicks stand up or grow longer? Clearly, GM legal team fucked up as usual.
2. Why continue with that bullshit supercar term? Clearly, vinyl stripes and fake suede must be the magic ingriedent here? Certainly, it is not the top speed or assembly fit and finish.
Clearly, Tadge's definition of " the most track capable" means it is the best at showing you what an idiot you are for believing all of his hype, and how great the car doubles as a grand stand, as you sit on the hood and watch all of the Vipers driving past you at high rates of speed lap after lap while simultaneously cooking hot dogs on the steam rising from the vents in the hood. Very capable indeed.
