Considering the embarrassment the newest +General Motors flagship Z06 continues to generate for GM and its creator, +Tadge Juechter, this may be the ticket to finall redeem this piece of shit and give it the much needed Nurburgring credentials.
Nevermind the battery powered flagship has a range of 30 miles, considering the current iteration cannot even run a single decent lap, this version can finally get a chance to run a couple of laps and allow GM to come up with a better time than the currently achieved 7:18.
The electric version of this car finally deal away with most of the overheating issues and minimize the heat soak although this part is yet to be seen, considering the battery powered flagship still has the same non existent shitty air flow through the engine compartment that most likely will overheat the electric motor as well and most likely cause the electric power steering to fail as before.
However, there is a chance, something that cannot be said about the current version so why not?
After all, the car is SUPPOSEDLY good for 30 miles of track driving, top speed of 200 mph and no problems with passing emission tests-all well above the current car's abilities.
Come on Tadge, get your shit together and make it happen. At least this way, the marketing department can claim impressive Nurburgring time, with a fine print explaining the nature of the power plant. LOL.
Did you read the specs correct? 30 miles is a joke. 300 miles would be at least useable. Of course for a Corvette 30 miles will get you and your wife to the local Dairy Queen and back, maybe.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the Nurburgring time, I have been checking the tracks web page for top 100 and the C7 is not listed.
The range is correct.
Delete30 miles. Really? That isn't even worth the effort. Mr. Musk is laughing his ass off right now!!!
