Apparantly fluid leaks are part of the bargain price for the newest generation of Corvette and they are here to stay. In an attempt to improve the buyers experience, +General Motors decided to reward the buyers of the cars equipped with the newest and greatest 8-speed automatic transmission with poor assembly quality and questionable quality of gaskets and sealants. To its credit, GM should be congratulated on offering a much needed change to the buyers expectation and offer these transmission leaks as a worthy successor to the oil pan leaks easily found on the C6 cars.
To keep the entertainment factor high, GM also continues to offer flex plate failures as a great incentive for the owners of the newest Corvettes, AT NO CHARGE.
GM's thoughtful attitude toward the buyers of the newest Corvettes allows them to maintain a close relationship with the local GM dealerships and as always very accommodating service department representatives.
Thankfully, in spite of its name, Corvette is not a boat, if it was, it would be sinking in a hurry, due to all the leaks, LOL.

Let's park the $100,000 corvette in the street so it does not fuck up the concrete driveway or garage floor. Haha what a piece of shit
ReplyDeleteGMPP should offer Corvette diaper, the warranty would be void like with everything else offered through that scam but at least driveways would be cleaner, LOL.
DeleteWhat is with the casting on the Transmission? that is ruff and ugly. Are they still using sand forms. Also looks like someone went crazy with a cheap grinder, look at the center rib on the transmission. Most likely sourced out to China, just like what Getrag did with the Mustang trans.
