Aftermarket high performance engine builders have no love for LT1 and LT4 engines found in Corvette C7 Stingray and Z06, preferring LS engines instead

As with anything else, you gotta hit the bottom to find out you reached the top.  Unfortunately for the buyers of the newest Corvette Stingray and its twice as expensive flagship version, this may be quite an expensive lesson, especially after an engine in their newest purchase decides to obliterate itself just for the fun of it.

Although the Corvette buyers are just ignorant and dumb by the rule (smart ones being an exception to this rule), the lesson +General Motors is actually still not learning has been given completely at the buyers expense and the person directly responsible for the fiasco called Corvette C7, +Tadge Juechter  continues to collect accollades (well, after the latest Motor Trend fiasco, he is actually hiding under the rock, trying to avoid a few buyer who most likely would like to give his behind an old fashioned whooping but still...).

Nevertheless, here is a very interesting interview with a renowned engine builder known to many car enthusiasts and some interesting information.  No, he is not an exception, there are many others make LS engines their choice for performance modifications.  To date, there is not a single engine builder recommending LT1 or LOL, LT4 into anything, not even a lawn mower or trash compactor...

Once again, you gotta hit the bottom to know you were at the top, good news to C5 and C6 owners but certainly nothing buyers of the current generation would like to hear...  So sad...
