The Corvette has been steadily evolving for over 60 years. However this generation - known as C7 - marks a dramatic leap forward. The car has been re-engineered from the ground up with a new engine, transmission, and an all-aluminum frame that shaves nearly 100 pounds off the C6. The interior was also developed to a global standard, with world-class materials and ergonomics.
• 0-60: 3.8 secs
• Power: 460 bhp
• Torque: 460 lb-ft
• Power: 460 bhp
• Torque: 460 lb-ft
So any of this alleged factoid actually true? Shaving almost 100 pounds off C6? If this does not sound like Juechter's old bullshit than what does? God help us all if Stingray complies with some kind of world interior standard, hard to tell if Hertz meant the Corvette C4 makeover or the cheap seat vinyl (on all leather interior) that literally falls apart at the seams. And yes, the new ergonomics, the same ergonomics that completely eliminate rear view and make lane changing a guessing game (rear view camera works only in reverse).
Oh and yes, that standard 460 hp and 3.8 sec 0-60. Tadge, if you did not write this bullshit, you should have.
