2015 Corvette C7 Z06 ground effects- the curious case of fender air curtains

This subject was already covered here but the question still persists, what on Earth possessed +Tadge Juechter to approve such a shitty and aerodynamically deficient design?  How much people responsible for coming up with this junk get paid?

In light of the recent high speed revelations, with the porker Z06 hitting aerodynamic brick wall, how can such ignorance persist?  Creating downforce is one thing but when the turbulence created in the process outweighs the benefits, why not go back to the drawing board and come up with something more productive?

And another question, why take such a tacky route in the process?

Here is the puzzling part, if I can personally knock this stuff out in my garage, assuring that it does what it supposed to, preventing front end lift caused by the rotating tires, there is absolutely nobody in GM to get a clue?  What is really interesting is the fact that apparently the aftermarket is just as dumb and brainless, seeing the junk they come up with...

Oh and yeah, I do not spend my time writing this blog, unlike the Corvette (and Viper owners), LMAO...
