Hey General Motors, instead of price hikes, get busy installing active aero on that turd called 2015 Corvette C7 Z06

As expected, the issue of lack of active aero continues to come back to bite this porker Z06 on its fugly ass over and over, with the latest injury delivered by the Nissan GTR Nismo.  Pretty ironic that while +General Motors is busy hiking the price of this turd, this portly and cheap looking  +Tadge Juechter 's love child continues to not just being bitch slapped but brutally raped by anything outside of Schwinn bicycles and steam locomotives.

Where did the R&D money go?  It certainly did not go toward handling or modernizing the suspension, it did not go toward an effective force induction system, weight reduction or aerodynamics improvements.  Oh and no fucking way it went toward improvements in materials, paint quality or fit and finish.  So where did it go?  Oh yeah, all the money was spent on the barn door mysteriously claiming to be a rear spoiler and those plastic fender extensions that look like a grammar school project for a kid with spare binder and pair of scissors.

Nevertheless, paging Tadge Juechter!!! Take a look at this video and get a hint... As it is, the newest flagship is no bargain by any account (Hellcat evil twins have more power and torque for 2/3 of the price) and Catheram has more grip for half price of the Z06.   Instead, the brain dead buyers get exactly what they pay for, an obsolete design, with excessive weight, shitty fit and finish, even shitter aerodynamics and too much power to be laid to the ground in a safe manner.

Would the money be spent better on active aero than on bullshit stuff like fake "competition" seatback or that Napa upgrade to the Mulan "almost leather" bullshit...  Anyway Tadge, check this out, it goes up and down only when needed...

  1. I am curious, why don't you just let folks post comments here? Are you afraid we might use some naughty words? Give us some freedom of speech Peter. Remove the review!

    1. By all means, exercise that freedom of speech by creating your own blog. LOL

    2. it's easy. If Peter didn't moderate the comments this place would be filled by dumb-ass comments from those who refuse to believe that the design team could actually have failed with the C7.

  2. Active aero, or at least semi-active (as in activated by the driver), with proper aerodynamic design should have been there from the start. If even the chrysler crossfire had it (user-activated spoiler) there's no reason for the corvette not to...

    1. LOL, if it was not for the Mercedes connection at that time, there would be no active aero on Crossfire and no crossfire period (kind of like Chrysler Pacifica). I had active aero long time ago on my 3000GT VR4, along with 4 wheel steering and AWD.

GM is too lazy and too cheap to take this route but I really do not understand why it is not used on the latest Viper (actually I do understand).
