Considering it is not a matter of IF but WHEN instead, it should not take very long, a matter of few weeks.
Considering the mounting evidence of new slush box suffering from overheating problems on the less powerful base Stingray, there is no doubt that the overheating issue will plague the slush box version of the newest flagship considerably worse, no matter how much sugar coating either +General Motors or +Tadge Juechter will apply to this flagship turd.
The fact that the pathetic attempt at mounted up front auxiliary transmission cooler is already there shows very clearly GM is running scared, realizing the upcoming problems. But... since this is the same old GM and the most clueless Corvette chief engineer in decades, no matter how idiotic the attempt at the fix may be, it will suffice in lieu of actual correction. As usual, Tadge counts on the core group of buyers, who are more preoccupied with their remaining ability to enter the car, without assistance of others and their waxing priorities not to learn the hard way how flawed this car really is...
For those few who dare to test the marketing claims, the most important question will be how long will GM take to process their claim and provide a replacement transmission? Will it be a matter of a few days or weeks? And how about that Lemon Law in their home state, just in case? Hmmm...
