The newest twist on the shitty Corvette C7 Stingray and C7 Z06 paint quality-color mismatched body panels ON THE SAME CAR

All the claims regarding great value and performance +General Motors marketers and +Tadge Juechter continue to make amount to proverbial JACK SHIT when compared to the real life problems literally plaguing the newest generation of Corvette and nothing speaks louder here than the absolutely unbelievably shitty paint "gracing" the latest Corvette.

The tales of paint peeling, bubbling, chipping and being full of contaminants are countless by now.  Of course, the ever popular orange peel continues to make well pronounced appearance on just about all of the produced Corvette of the seventh generation.

But... there is another interesting twist in this sorry saga and another reason to give the buyers a big headache: color mismatched body panels.  Yes, there are visible color variations between body panels on the same car.  The easiest one to see is the color variation between the supposedly color matched roof panel since this panel is painted by the roof panel supplier.  This part is of course still completely unacceptable but easier to understand.

However, there are color variations between panels painted in Bowling Green assembly plan as well.  The color variations are not limited to tinted premium colors or metallic, they seem to be present in solid colors as well.  What is exactly going on here?  Why is nobody seeing this at the factory while running the car through the quality control points?  There is absolutely no reason for this latest twist and unfortunately, the buyers should be more aware than ever before accepting such shitty quality of the finish on their cars.

The first example of this alarming situation was shown already but here is another one.  When is this going to stop?  Apparently smart buyers should completely forget about buying out of state, without inspecting the car first, USING A FLUOURESCENT light before even considering parting with their money.

    1. Seems this is what GM stands for, unfortunately. With GM, there is no bargain, you get exactly what you pay for, a piece of shit by anyone else's standard, including Kia.
