The ignorance of journalists praising Corvette C7 Stingray and C7 Z06 adds lots of credibility to available evaluations

On the whole, the ignorance of the buyers of the latest generation of Corvette is a perfect match to the ignorance of the journalists evaluating these turds.  This is the fact and it is proven over and over and simultaneously on both accounts.  Certainly, neither +General Motors or the douchebag directly responsible for the extent of the latest failure, +Tadge Juechter do not have to lose any sleep fearing someone will see through the marketing bullshit constantly dished out at the buying sheep.

Here is the latest example, from the Forbes magazine, a place that should not be even thinking about discussing cars, the point already made by the same magazine while discussing the benefits of the latest Corvette seats, ironically enough, the heaviest in the  Corvette's history.

Here is a great example of the automotive knowledge demonstrated by Forbes, with the writer supposedly driving the great car and writing this:

I got a chance to spend some time driving a Stingray Coupe with the Z51 Performance Package, the 2LT Package and additional options that added $13,160 to the standard vehicle price of $58,000, bringing the “as tested” price to $72,155 including a $995 destination charge.

And here is a rather blatant proof of journalistic failure to investigate, in this case, reading off the manufacturer info sticker on the door jamb...

The Coupe that I drove was tuned to produce “just” 460 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque from its naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine. With a curb weight of 3,298 lbs, that’s still plenty of power to send the two-seater rocketing to speed with enough zip to drive your back against the seat. Sixty mph shows up in just 3.8 seconds, and a quarter-mile passes in 12 seconds at 119 mph. My test vehicle was equipped with the optional ($1,725) eight-speed paddle shift automatic transmission

The bold text illustrates the ignorance of this writer, apparently too lazy or too dumb to either read off the door sticker or do homework because between the Z51 joke, 2LT equipment and automatic transmission, there is 182 extra pounds to be accounted for, with this car... Interestingly enough, this numbnut quotes the peformance figures straight from GM advertisements, further increasing the credibility of this "evaluation".

As usual, ignorance propagates more ignorance and this Forbes article is certainly not an exception to the rule already well established with the C7 Corvette, LOL...
