One gauge missing from 2015 Corvette C7 Z06

A while ago, there was a youtube video (currently removed) showing another Corvette C7 Z06 asshole supposedly achieving a 199 mph speed while street racing on a public highway.  Strangely enough, absolutely nobody, regardless of the aero level of the car, has not been even close to achieving this speed, under more controlled conditions, including the Texas Mile (and 1.5 mile) and the pathetic autobahn run.

So what is going on here?  Why there is nobody else capable of repeating this experience and give so much needed street and performance creed to the +General Motors flagship piece of shit bufflingly named Z06?

As already stated on this blog, with the PDR using speedometer read out instead of GPS, it does not take much to fool it and display speeds higher than actual values, a slight decrease in overall diameter of tires will result in speedometer being thrown off by five or more percent but... there is one other aspect here, and interestingly enough, one measurement that the great PDR somehow forgot to include:  ELEVATION CHANGE.

In other words, neither the car nor the PDR can account for the effect of the car being driven DOWNHILL.  Considering the available parameters include driving angle, lateral acceleration, 0-60 and quarter mile, it is very peculiar that a simple instrument as INCLINOMETER was not included.

The performance of the new flagship on the level surface is not a big secret, it outright sucks, apparently even the lowest level of aero does not allow the C7 Z06 brick to break 190 mph, at least in stock form but... going downhill and without a headwind, the new flagship can apparently move faster, LOL...

Will +Tadge Juechter include inclinometer in the next model years?  LOL...

  1. No inclinometer, but it will have a gauge the dealership activates when you take delivery of the car that will count down to the nearest hundredth of a second indicating when your warranty expires. It's good for dramatic effect, and adds that extra "thrill" factor missing in the C7. It's an expensive option, but I think it's worth every penny.
