Never mind any insignificant changes expected by the buyers of the seventh generation of Corvette such as improved cooling or aerodynamics or maybe even a meaningand supercharger. What +General Motors decided to do instead was to salute the Kool Aid drinking Corvette enthusiasts and finally give them their very special ADDICTION RED TINT COAT color option.
Certainly, considering how much of failure this new generation of Corvette continues to be, the more Kool Aid, the better.
One cannot help but wonder who was the genius behind this brilliant move, +Tadge Juechter perhaps? At least this way, when the newest flagship Z06 is passed by a Dodge Challenger Hellcat or Charger Hellcat, all the buyer has to do is to sniff the Kool Aid off the paint job and it all should be peachy (or more accurately orangy, due to the greatest orange peel ever, LOL)

Is it just me, or is that Kool-Aid guy made to look "porky" so he appeals to the C7 demographic, while at the same time embodying the overall design approach taken by Tadge and his team? Once again, Tadge is always one step ahead, with his crafty subliminal messages and stuff. The balloon above his head should read, "Oh, Yeaahh, it's Track Capable."
