The reports of blown engines continue to show up and instead of seeing a decline due to +General Motors clamping down on the suppliers delivering poorly machined components, crankshafts specifically, the numbers continue to grow.
Apparently and as usual, +Tadge Juechter and company decided to deal with the effect (blown engines) instead of curing the cause (shitty supplier) which is amazingly similar to the problems with the heads on the previous generation's LS7 engines.
Pretty obvious that no matter how much change Juechter claims, the more the shit stays the same (it is GM after all).
Come to think about it, it may be a great idea for GM to stock up not just on the turdy engines but transmissions (both automatic and manual), torque tubes and electronic differentials.
Hopefully, the affected buyers will be lucky enough not to just get the needed replacement parts but someone qualified to do the swap as well. So far, the repair experience has been a real crapshoot, just like the original quality control coming from Bowling Green plant.
well, Garbage Motors keep on blowing up,and it seems like they are being sued for being a Gigantic Mistake,at the tune of 10 billion.
