Corvette C7R wins 2015 GTE LeMans Pro class while Tadge Juechter continues to sit on his ass witholding the 2015 Corvette C7 Z06 Nurburgring result!!!

OK, this shit is really getting old, with +Tadge Juechter continuing to withold those "pleasing" Nurburgring results for the latest and greatest +General Motors piece of shit "flagship" Z06.

What gives here?  If there was a time for disclosing this supposedly great Nurburgring lap time for the most overhyped Corvette in GM's history, that day was yesterday.

Yesterday, the Pratt Miller built C7 look alike, still powered by the obsolete LS7 motor and riding on those "ancient" coilovers instead of modern leaf springs managed to actually finish the 24 hours of LeMans and score 17th overall position which happened to coincide with the first place in GTE Pro class.

Even though this is a bullshit win, concidering that Porsche ruled overall and managed to complete the 24 hours with all three of their cars, scoring mind blowing 1, 2nd and 5th overall positions (no sign of Corvette prototype anywhere, of course), the C7 look alike could actually claim a victory of sorts.

Now, according to GM website:

At the intersection of Le Mans and the Autobahn sits the best of American automotive design and engineering — the all-new 2015 Corvette Z06. This world-class supercar is the closest link yet between Corvettes built for racing and the road.

So... seeing this statement and knowing already that the newest Z06 is suited for slow lane on Autobahn and overheats at will, wouldn't anyone reasonable expect the LeMans score to coincide with that alleged Nurburgring time?  Apparently not!!!

Incidentally, it is truly well past due to stop calling this Cars and Coffee poser a supercar, there is absolutely nothing super about the car that falls on its face at any possible moment, as soon as anyone tries to verify the marketing bullshit claims but that is strictly besides the point here...

WHERE IS THE FUCKING NURBURGRING TIME?

Anyone not heavily sedated or on kool aid will realize quickly that the difference between the winning Porsche and C7R is FIFTY EIGHT LAPS and this is on top of the fact that C7R has as much in common with Z06 as with Schwinn bicycle but nevertheless... A bullshit victory is better than none and this is as good as it gets for Corvette.  Thus and again, where is the fucking Nurburgring lap time?

What is Juechter waiting for?  The Nurburgring time is not like a wine, it does not get better with time, in fact, the opposite will happen.

Get off your lazy ass Juechter and disclose the result NOW!!!

  1. Corvettes win LeMons races all the time. Of course the cars are heavily modified, incliding Ford motors, diesels, etc.
So GM builds a one off car, and Porsche builds the same thing but LeMans gives a win to GM since the C7R can't hang with the Germans?????

    1. LOL at "LeMONs". Nah, Corvettes rarely win in real LeMans races and never overall, it is that "class" bullshit or "American LeMans". Like with Corvette Prototype class, GM does not build the C7R, Pratt & Miller does and from ground up, just like with C5R and C6R. If GM built a race car, it would be racing on the back of the tow truck.

  2. The Corvette avoided fire, transmission failure, and other race related failures. They finished the race 5 laps or 40+ miles ahead of second place and was ahead of 5th place by the same distance of going from Santa Monica to San Diego. I think they proved the speed to the world and their reliability.

    1. The only thing the car proved was that abandoning normally aspirated engine in supposedly track worthy POS was the biggest mistake of this generation of Corvette. Yes, the C7R finished 5 laps ahead of Ferrari with broken down transmission stuck in fourth gear, LOL.
