Where does General Motors get its ideas for Corvette C7 Stingray and C7 Z06 exterior and interior color combinations?

Seriously, what inspires geniuses in +General Motors to come up with certain color combinations available on the newest generation of Corvette.  Would +Tadge Juechter drive a car looking like this?  Maybe the next option will include the metalic flake in the vinyl upholstery to make this newest Corvette live up to its name sake, Stingray (not to be mistaken with Gen 2 Sting Ray) and throw in a velour jump suit and gold chains to complete the image?

Really, the car looks already like shit, with so called Carbon Flash trim pieces on top of color matched pieces and either chrome or solid black rims.  In this case though, GM managed to outdo itself and came up with a truly awful blue color for the interior that when combined with Laguna Blue orange peel, yields a truly nauseating outcome.  WOW!!!

Even though the new flagship cannot distinguish itself with bulletproof performance, it certainly can set new standard in bad taste.

  1. It's time for GM to add "Shit Brown" to its color palette. They could do a Shit Brown exterior and a puke green interior. Befitting I think.

  2. I've seen worse. I believe there was one here that had yellow calipers, gray paint, blue convertible top. Not sure what the interior looked like but it hurt my eyes to look directly at the car. Old people must be color blind.
