2016 Corvette C7 Z06 convertible- $110k buys plenty of orange peel

In a typical +General Motors fashion, as long as suckers buy, nothing ever gets better (not like it does even when they do not buy). 

Even though the paint on the newest generation of Corvette looked like shit from day one, it continues to be this way even now, in the third year of production, with GM making no effort to correct anything. 

As usual, the dedicated UAW crew, with the blessing of the management continues to crank out the cars at the rate of 1400 per month and the number of cars produced equals the number of cars delivered, with the results shown below.

As shitty as the paint continues to be, at least there is comfort for the buyers of the bottom of the Corvette food chain Stingrays-paying twice as much as they do accomplishes exactly the same thing-NOTHING. 

The real question here is where does that extra money really go?  Certainly, it cannot go toward a better performing car, why not at least put some effort into making this piece of shit at least a bit more presentable?  $110 grand is more like $113 grand considering the average cost of that idiotic "paint correction" attempt that results in no clear coat left on the flagship.
