Why would General Motors offer second engine radiator for NORMALLY ASPIRATED LT1 Corvette C7 Stingray?

The fact that the +General Motors newest flagship C7 Z06 is nothing else but supercharged base car is a given.  Long gone are the days of ZR1 style design, utilizing model specific car and engine designs.  This budget oriented corporate mentality is the reason why the newest flagship is such a failure, adding power to a car designed for normally aspirated and less powerful engine has to end up in a disaster and resounding failure-as well demonstrated by the C7 Z06.

However, there is another issue here, with the normally aspirated base Stingray.  The idiotic cooling system UPGRAYEDD coming from +Tadge Juechter is also offered on the base car.  The question is WHY?  Is the base car already underdesigned with respect to cooling system, without using the supercharged LT4 turd?

The answer is a resounding YES.  Unfortunately, the cluster fuck is not limited to Z06, it starts with the base car and the LT1 engine, long before supercharger is added.  The problem lies in not just greater heat generated by the undersized and inefficient supercharger, there is a serious problem with the new block design and specifically, the restricted cooling passages in the block itself.

There is a very good reason why high performance car builders avoid the newest family of GM engines, relying instead on the previous LS engines, the new and leaner running engines have a very serious handicap with regards to cooling and it takes a second radiator on the LT1 car to allow it to last on the track beyond that typical hero lap.

There is another aspect to this problem as well: the secondary radiator is the first one ever for any Corvette and first ever for a normally aspirated Corvette.  This part alone renders the entire generation of Corvette as a biggest Corvette failure ever.  Gone are the days of normally aspirated Corvettes competing on the track, without extra weight added and shitload of cooling system upgrades.

The other issue here:  just like with the flagship with slush box, GM should really fess up and offer a buyback program since this is another case of heavy consumer advertising fraud.  What is exactly a purpose of offering Corvettes with automatic transmission and supposedly making them quicker if they cannot last worth shit under track conditions in spite of being advertised as such?

Tadge Juechter, kindly quit your job while you are just a douchebag, things cannot get any better.  Unfortunately, there is nobody in GM to realize this part and let you go... GM must be too busy dealing with all other PR nightmares, recalls and lawsuits...  Hmmm...
