Although the current R35 Nissan GTR gets long in the tooth by now, after seven years in production, the Nissan engineers continue to improve the car, squeezing out more horsepower, improving aerodynamics, interior and tuning characteristics.
With 2017 model year, Nissan GTR increased its power rating from 480 2009 rating to 565, improved the aerodynamics somewhat and redesigned the interior, along with standard titanium exhaust system.
The same cannot be said about the 2017 +General Motors Corvette C7 "flagship" Z06. As a matter of fact, besides the changes in 4 orange peel rich exterior colors, there is absolutely nothing to report regarding improvements to the "certified supercar".
Did +Tadge Juechter run out of ideas or perhaps, the flagship is so perfect that absolutely nothing could be done to make it better? Of course, there is also a third possibility: it is already a write off, with Juechter thinking pretty hard how to bait the gullible Corvette buyers with the hints of C8 generation...
Where does this leave the current owners and prospective 2017 buyers? Up shit creek seems like a good guess...
