General Motors to offer 707 hp Hellcat engine option in 2017 Corvette C7 Z06 track variant

Apparently +General Motors decided finally to give up on making Corvette C7 Z06 a laughing stock of the automotive world and instead of relying on +Tadge Juechter and his team of engineering experts and instead, sourced a limited number of Hellcat engines from Chrysler.  As a bonus, the awkward 7-speed manual transmission was forgone in favor of TR6060 six speed manual transmission.

With the price of  $120k, the Hellcat version of Z06 will be guaranteed to preserve its advertised performance for minimum of TWO LAPS, with ambient temperatures up to 88 degrees.

  1. I have read that in many forums owners would pay more for a real track version If it were available. Sad to say they had to outsource, but understandable
