2017 Corvettes C7 Stingray, Grand Sport and Z06 continue with the same shitty paint and fit quality as before

As the saying goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same and no company fits this better than +General Motors .  Year after year, generation after generation, the same shitty "quality control" continues with none other than the alleged "America's favorite sports car", currently in its seventh generation.

There is of course one notable difference between the horrible paint and body panel finish observed in the past and the current production year: the newest marketing gimmick, the Grand Sport corporate kit car, borrowing body panels from the still overheating and heat soaking +Tadge Juechter pride and joy, Z06 and mechanicals from the equally flawed base Stingray model introduces its own list of greatest UAW misses, with union zombies slapping the Grand Sports together and rolling the paint over them.

Predictably, the huge paint runs are readily found on the parts painted by the UAW members, not the robots.  Even though there is not a single Corvette of any vintage that lacks the runs in its pain but this one may be setting a new record, in fact, warranting verification of that claimed 50/50 weight distribution.

Of course, the Z06 flagship turds do not disappoint to deliver their own accomplishments like this brand new 2017, actually flaking (not chipping) its paint due to apparent lack of permanent paint curing taking place.

Thanks again UAW members and avid Corvette buyers for providing this peculiar kind of entertainment to the masses, relieved by the fact they are not the ones forced to deal with the ever greatest customer service and even more fabulous dealer body shops.
