Another reason why Corvette C7 Stingray buyers should be afraid to bring their car for warranty service...

In addition to having their pride and joy butchered and literally demolished by incompetent and unqualified dealer service crew, they can also get their car literally trashed and shitted on.

Now, one would think that dealers would be smart to figure out that the owners of these cars are not exactly the same as the pick up truck or Sonic buyers but somehow, they miss this point and give these cars a truly royal treatment, leaving these "flagship" Chevrolet cars overnight exposed to elements, hands of passers by, tree sap and bird shit. 

Here is an example, and what is particularly disturbing is the fact it is already hot outside and the car is a convertible, with the fabric top being considerably more susceptible to bird shit stains and tree sap effects, requiring considerable effort to clean up and hopefully, bring back to original condition.  So it is not just the paint that is getting damaged in the dealer sponsored case of negligence but the other aspects of the convertible car.

Pretty obvious that any dealer serving Sonics and trucks will not give a shit about a new Corvette and in fact, they may be encouraged to promote such behavior after being annoyed by overprotective car owners.

Nevertheless, this is not an isolated example but a representative one instead.  In this case, the car was returned to the owner in this condition, with the dealer too busy dealing with the massive GM safety recalls than paying attention to a Corvette.

There is no doubt that the new Corvette gives Porsche and Ferrari a run for the money-NOT!!!
