2015 Corvette C7 Z06 LT4 engine loses out to 2015 Dodge Hellcat 6.2 engine

Ward's is certainly not the end to all other automotive authorities but it is certainly very peculiar how +General Motors LT4 engine found in 2015 Corvette Z06 failed to make the list.  What is even more interesting is the fact that Chrysler Hellcat offering made the list, along with the same old LT1 Stingray engine.

What gets engines on that list?  The engine has to set itself apart from others by offering something unique and not present somewhere else.  From the fact that the Hellcat engine is on the list, it is pretty obvious that Ward's was more impressed with the output of the Hellcat than LT4.  Without any doubt, +Tadge Juechter must be pulling whatever he has left of head hair seeing LT4 being passed over by Hellcat monster.

This alone cannot make or break the latest Z06 but it certainly does not help it, either.  Considering all other issues the Z06 already faces, GM could certainly use a recognition but it just did not happen.
