How quickly can fortunes change... +Tadge Juechter must be learning quickly his own rather brutal lesson in humility and there is not a single thing he can do about it. Certainly, Tadge cannot blame anyone but himself for his own arrogance and apparently expectation of everyone to discard reality in favor of marketing bullshit.
It was not that long ago when Tadge Juechter decided to make a pretty bold claim about entire sixth generation of Corvette instantly becoming obsolete due to the introduction of the seventh generation of the plastic fantastic.
To make clear, Tadge Juechter very little to do with the development of the sixth generation of Corvette. During the development of the sixth generation of Corvette, including development of Z06 and ZR1 variants, Juechter's functions amounted to a corporate errand boy, nothing else. Ironically enough, the only accomplishment Juechter can take credit for is the last Grand Sport, strictly visual candy for Corvette enthusiasts, without any real performance advancements but great seller nevertheless (does this pattern sound familiar regarding the seventh generation or what?) along with the sales failure, Corvette C6 427 roadster.
Pretty obvious that this latest generation of Corvette is Juechter's attempt to carve out his own chapter in Corvette's history. Unfortunately for Tadge and Corvette, life rarely follows wishful thinking and in spite of sales taking off initially, the fat lady already sang, with lyrics that included shitty fit and finish, horrible paint, blown engines and variety of other problems.
Since Juechter can never be accused of being modest or humble, the sideshow continued with the 8 speed "better than PDK" automatic turd and then continued again to where we are right now, Z06 failure.
Ain't life a bitch? How could possibly this new flagship, advertised as a "supercar on budget" fail? Pretty simple actually, it is not as fast or quick in real life as marketing hype suggested. What makes it even more of a failure is the fact that the performance of this supercar is inferior not just to the previous ZR1 but Z06 as well-in spite of claims and assurances Juechter has been making rather regularly. The fact that the new Z06 is inferior to the previous generation of Corvette must be particularly painful and uncomfortable to Juechter, considering that claim of obsolescence he made in the past. In fact, Juechter already ended up as the quintessential horse's ass, making a complete idiot of himself. What was this guy thinking?
Nevertheless, considering the complete failure Juechter is responsible for, one matter still remains open: should Juechter be forced to eat his own bullshit words?
YES, he should!!! Seems only fitting that this douchebag should be dealing with the consequences of his own arrogance and incompetence. Honestly Tadge, what were you thinking (assuming you can think).
