Aftermarket helping Corvette C7 Z06 live up their "redneck's Ferrari" dreams?

For a long time, Corvette have been perceived as the poor man's Ferrari, this is a fact and by now, it is very obvious that the current seventh generation of +General Motors "image" car continues with this dubious tradition...

In case the delusional owners who choose to subscribe to that idiotic pipe dream needed some reinforcements and in case the general public cannot be fooled enough from the outside, the resourceful aftermarket is there to give these delusional owners a bit of help with the interior of the car as well.

In this case, a China based and resourceful supplier and vendor named Apsis decided to offer to the Corvette C7 Stingray and C7 Z06 seat UPGRAYEDD.  Apparently these new seats (build on top of the obscenely heavy OEM seat frames) will save aspiring C7 owners a trip to the Ferrari scrapyard and subsequent modifications to their cars to make these seats fit.  All the lucky buyers will have to do is provide the fine vendor and supplier with their seats as cores, attach $6500 to them and after a while, they will receive the finest Chinese made knock offs of Ferrari seats, ready to install in their fine ride.

By all accounts, this is something that typically happens to the Pontiac Fiero based so called Ferrari "conversions" but why not carry on with this tradition on to the newest Corvette?  The puzzling part here is that at least according to +Tadge Juechter and happy owners, the newest Corvette already has a world class interior, comparable to the "other supercars", so why would anyone want to spend this kind of money to give their car that successful scrap yard interior look?  Those who already think the newest Corvettes can be mistaken for Ferrari need no further reinforcement, however, those familiar with real Ferraris will get a big chuckle seeing this idiocy...

Now, that approach is a lot like this song, instead in this case, the ears not the eyes can be fooled into believing  these are some dudes from Jamaica, rocking out but there is a big difference here, the song is good, great in fact-unlike the Stingray that already sucked before this latest visual abortion.
