Corvette C7 Stingray and Z06 50/50 weight distribution-marketing lies and reality

By all accounts, assuming he actually has one, +Tadge Juechter should have his Professional Engineer license revoked long time for feeding the buyers with the 50/50 weight distribution bullshit.

Yes, there is no doubt that this 50/50 weight distribution claim was cooked up by the +General Motors marketing department to create more hype around Corvette C5, back in 1997.  But... the fact remains that Juechter took over the 50/50 myth and continues to propagate it.

So how does that 50/50 weight distribution work?  If there was a case of a marketing wishful thinking, certainly this would a textbook example.

In the previous generation, while the marketing claim flatly stated 50/50 weight distribution, across the board, the real life verification USING CORNER SCALE:

(C6 1LT M6)
No driver, 1/4 tank of gas; 3251#,54% Front and 46% Rear.
W/Driver, 1/4 tank of gas; 3418#, 53% Front and 47% Rear

(the results would be somewhat better for A6 C6 due to extra 60 lbs very close to rear axle).
However, there is no such distinction in the marketing materials published for C6 nor there is any clarification by Juechter which is actually not surprising at all, considering how many times has this guy lied through his teeth over the years.

So is there is a chance that Corvette C7 in any form can even come close to that 50/50 weight distribution?  Not a chance as a matter of fact, unless good ole Tadge decides to move the center of mass somewhere at the windshield which apparently he has done more than once.

Granted, moving the battery to the rear of the car is a nifty trick aimed at creating an illusion that Tadge's team spent a lot of time doing the weight distribution but unless there is someone at GM who can produce a print out from a recently calibrated corner scale, the latest Corvette weight distribution is just more of the same marketing bullshit.

To make the matter even more insulting to anyone not addicted to GM kool aid, the weight distribution magically remains constant, regardless of the type of transmission, trim level or Z51 presence-apparently the laws of physics have been magically suspended for the newest Corvette, once again.
