Keeping mileage low on Corvette C7 Stingray-the Italian and British way-abundance of very low mileage pre-owned Stingrays very likely

The buyers of Corvette Stingray have one more thing common with their British and Italian cars buying counterparts: they are getting to know drivers of the tow trucks extremely well, just as well as the service writers at the dealership nearest to the latest location of their once again broken down car.

Italian and British cars, especially of the sports car variety are typically very easy to find with extremely low mileage and for a very good reason, spending more time being towed and residing at the repair facilities considerably more frequently than being driven by their owners.

Apparently this is one way +Tadge Juechter and +General Motors  envisioned to bring the newest Corvette closer to the European competitors, giving the owners a taste of continental flavor, LOL.

The other part of the European connection is the reality of nothing being a simple repair on the Stingray, cramming electronics and variety of mechanical gadgets in the Stingray makes any repair a real chore, causing prolonged down time while the car sits at the dealership while the fine service crew tries to figure out how to take it apart, waiting for  needed parts to arrive.

Certainly a win-win situation: assurance of low mileage used Stingrays readily available and increased business for extended warranty sellers.
