+Tadge Juechter loves to brag about the upcoming Z06 as a "game changer".
First of all Tadge, what game would that be? Handling? Agility? Drag strip slips? Supersonic top speed? Braking distance? Care to define the game that is being played first, before spouting off?
Let me list the reasons why the upcoming Z06 cannot change any automotive game, except maybe for initial price gouging, although even this one is a big iffy...
1. There is not a single PERFORMANCE ORIENTED bit of technology that the upcoming Z06 includes. There is no new induction system, there is no new suspension design, there is no new braking system, there is no new transmission.
2. Z06 fails miserably in weight loss program.
3. Z06 fails to include sufficient visual distinction to justify its "distinct" pricing.
4. Z06 fails to offer track credentials that would come from stripped interior and larger NATURALLY ASPIRATED engine.
5. Z06 includes a SLUSH BOX instead of a real DCT transmission for those who lack the driving skills.
6. Z06 manual transmission includes THREE OVERDRIVE gears.
7. Z06 fails to deliver better fit and finish and quality control that the high price tag would imply.
8. Z06 fails to offer fuel efficiency device DELETE, to eliminate the poser crowd.
9. Z06 fails to deliver better aerodynamics than its base counterpart.
