The real meaning of 2015 Corvette C7 Z06 as the most TRACK CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER

Playing with words and twisting their meanings seems to be favorite sport of +Tadge Juechter mouthpiece and +General Motors marketing bullshitters.

Are Juechter and GM advertisements lying or simply deceive people through clever choice of words?

The answer really depends on several factors: intelligence of targeted consumer group, objective of the purchase and finally, understanding of automotive subject (along with the basic knowledge of physics and fluid and thermodynamics) and dedication to the world of high performance automobiles and competitive driving.

Going down the list of the items listed above and reviewing the currently existing evidence, it is very clear that predatory advertising behavior has found a permanent home in Corvette circles, just like it did in the circle of Dodge Viper owners.

In a nutshell, the Z06 buying majority lacks the background, motivation and ability to understand both the claims made by GM and Juechter and then their implications in the real life.

The term used by GM, THE MOST TRACK CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER in reality is truly meaningless and if there is an analogy that can be drawn here, it would be one from the world of hand watches.  Specifically, the difference between WATER RESISTANT and WATERPROOF watches.

Water resistant watch is not a watch that will eliminate water damage like a WATERPROOF watch would, yet, somehow the watch buying public, just like the Corvette buyers is either too lazy or too stupid to distinguish between these terms, thus, there are plenty of pretty expensive had watches that routinely sustain water damage.  The trick here is to really read the manufacturer disclosure and ALL CONDITIONS necessary for the rating to be valid.

How does this related to Corvette C7 Z06?  Very directly actually since here is Tadge Juechter spouting off about the new Z06 being a WATER RESISTANT watch on four wheels while the idiots buyers convince themselves they are really buying a WATERPROOF Corvette.

In the case of  the Z06 turd, the corresponding term is TRACK READY.  Thus, the idiots purchase the car advertised in a truly meaningless way as the most track capable Corvette ever under assumption they are purchasing the MOST TRACK READY CORVETTE EVER.  Thhe results of this misconception already surface and apparently the shock of the reality is such that the douchebag Juechter had to issue a clarification clearly indicating that WATER RESISTANT designation for the Z06 instead of WATERPROOF.

Why is that MOST TRACK CAPABLE term worthless?  First of all, it is a very subjective and RELATIVE term.  Why?  Because in Juechter's twisted little mind, anything that came because this turd is most likely considering a total piece of shit (although Juechter uses term OBSOLETE instead).

Thus, if whatever preceded the C7 Z06 was completely track incapable, even a trace of track worthiness allows Juechter to make these bullshit claims.  Again, the term is purely subjective and certainly open to the interpretation of the person making it.  Incidentally, this is also one of the main reasons why no Nurburgring laptime will be ever disclosed for any of C7 cars and why Juechter listed specific conditions that supposedly validate this bullshit.  Of course, even as meaningless as this claim is, it can still be shown as complete lie but this is where the brain dead buyers come in, ferociously defending their idiotic purchase. 

In reality, any attempt at even legitimate TRACK CAPABLE car would involved WEIGHT SHEDDING, including at least an option to delete all weight adding and performance robbing creatures of comfort, including those fucking 65 pound weighing "COMPETITION" seats.  Furthermore, there would have to be an option to add meaningful engine, transmission and differential cooling and that POS supercharger system deletion or upgrade along with optional OEM 5-point harness and  SAFETY CAGE and factory mounting points (the new Z06 IS A STRUCTURAL DEATHTRAP).

The actual TRACK READY version of the Z06 would include these options as standard equipment, along with actual effective aerodynamic enhancements and COILOVER suspension, just for starters.

Until these issues are addressed, the MOST TRACK CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER is the BIGGEST MARKETING BULLSHIT EVER.
