Could 2015 Corvette C7 Z06 "creator" Tadge Juechter be trusted with designing a mid engine Zora Corvette?

By all accounts, Corvette C7 Z06 should be a great car, yet, instead of a great car, what +Tadge Juechter and his team came up with is nothing short of a huge embarrassment and certifiable piece of shit.  Now, this would be easier to accept this car was a design, showing growing pains and creating lessons that hopefully would inspire +General Motors to put to constructive use.

However, the latest Z06 breaks absolutely no new grounds, the platform is essentially a carry over from 1997, down to the leaf springs and rear mounted transmission.  Yes, the car is a collection of currently available GM corporate technologies and in fact, one of the major requirements for the new generation was to use all of these technologies, no matter how pointless or performance robbing they would be.  This is why this generation of Corvette runs on four cylinders and why so called variable valve timing is contributing absolutely nothing to car's performance and in fact, it hurts its performance instead.

If the base Corvette is a shitty and heavy car, substituting horrible quality and collection of mechanical and electronic gremlins and cancers in place of quality and reliability, the considerably higher priced and highly hyped Z06 takes the term PIECE OF SHIT to new heights, failing to deliver on majority of marketing fluff and flash that surrounded this alleged supercar since its inception.

Instead of exceeding the performance of the previous high performance versions of Corvette, Z06 and ZR1, the newest flagship cannot fully best either one of them and in fact, when performance of previous generation of Z06 and ZR1 cars are combined, the direct comparisson is truly shameful, with the only saving grace for the alleged supercar being occasional 0-60 and quarter mile achievements.   In addition to falling short on performance figures, IF they are even disclosed, the newest flagship has real issues with sustaining its already dubious performance, running as hot as none of the previous Corvettes ever had.  To top it off, the car is as heavy as a proverbial pig, with very little of this weight gain being attributed to actual performance improvements.

To sum up this newest car, it is a huge failure, a car that should never exist OR AT LEAST never advertised as the MOST TRACK CAPABLE CORVETTE EVER.  What is really amazing it the fact that as a rehash of the previous generations, it is absolutely mind blowing how anyone could possibly fuck it up so badly?  To make it worse, problems from the previous generations such as inadequate cooling not only did not get fixed but actually got considerably WORSE.  Finally, to top it off, the douchebag in charge and weasel supreme, Tadge Juechter will not even acknowledge the fuck up and pretend it is all good.

Given the current situation and the epic fuck up, is it possible that Tadge Juechter or anyone else involved in the current fiasco can come up with a mid engine car, capable of taking Corvette to new heights, validating its existence among true exotics?  The answer is a resounding NO.  There is absolutely no fucking way that between the truly retarded GM corporate mentality of using Corvette as a platform validating unsuitable technologies and numbnuts like Juechter, a worthwhile mid engine sportscar could be designed and produced.  In fact, the last mid engine GM car, Pontiac Fiero (which incidentally was the victim of the exact same corporate mentality) would look like an unachivable standard.
