The reality of the performance aspects of Corvette C7 Z06 and Corvette C7 Stingray

Reading advertisements on the +General Motors website and interviews and statements from +Tadge Juechter , one could easily think that the major group of the newest Corvette buyers is all about performance and exploring the limits of the performance offered by these cars.  To further propagate this illusion and misconception, the interned is literally littered with performance related problems experienced by the new and disappointed owners, ranging from variety of overheating and heat soak issues, to engine and entire drivetrain failures and on and on and on.

In reality, even though these problems are there and deem the newest generation as the most incapable Corvette ever (at least versus the advertised performance fiction) the majority of the buyers never even touches upon discovering these issues due to the very simple reason: they never drive these cars hard enough for these problems to surface or matter.

The reality of the Corvette ownership and so called performance "mods" is outright funny, considering evidence like this:

What is the actual purpose of these mods?  Apparently these mods are used to fill up display banners, something that car show contestants do, rolling out these idiotic banners, setting up their lawn chairs and waiting their turn for the judges to show up.    Again, cannot make up shit like this...

  1. It begs the question, "If every new C7 owner tracked their car, as it is allegedly intended, and put it through full 30-40 lap races/track days, how many of these cars would actually be on the road?" Suddenly, the C7 becomes pretty rare on the street.
