The problem with overheating electric motor in the power assisted steering system of the +General Motors flagship Corvetter C7 Z06 is not a speculation, it is a fact and it is a true hazard. When electric motor overheats not just during a track attempt but even during so called "spirited" street driving, while conquering twisties, trying to validate +Tadge Juechter 's assurance regarding the most capable Corvette ever, the loss of power steering comes without any warning, the overheated motor just shuts down, FOLLOWED by the expected warning light. The shut down is very sudden, requiring the driver to adjust in an instant, providing extra muscle to finish negotiating a turn.
Although the manual steering is still there, this is a 3600 pound porker, with wide front tires and unfavorable weight distribution, thus, this may be easier said than done to complete steering without the power assist. Given the high cornering abilities of the flagship and speeds involved, one cannot help but wonder if this what happened to the porker Jim Mero who crashed the piece of shit flagship in the past at Nurburgring. Of course Juechter will not confess to what really happened but this is exactly what it looks like and if Juechter remains silent on this subject, than he is not any different than that cunt Hillary Clinton and her silence on the fucking private server.
Seems like waterboarding Juechter, just like that bitch, would everyone do a lot of good before lives are lost. Of course, this is Corvette sheep and these tools will not admit to a problem until it is too late, thus, no NHTSA investigation until there is a body count.
Although there are other issues involved with the piece of shit Z06, none other involves loss of control of the car (unless the car shuts down due to electrical issues) and it is very peculiar how silent everyone is about it.
It goes without saying that GM has not made a single effort to rectify this problem, apparently counting on the schmucks buying this turd to avoid competitive driving on the account of engine and transmission overheating, thus, rendering the power steering issue marginally important. The only problem here is the fact that the power steering seems to be shutting down BEFORE engine overheats, putting this car in the proverbial limp mode.
Once again, it's "General Murderers" doing what it does best. Ignoring problems with it's vehicles because fixes cost money, and human lives aren't worth shit to the corporate fat asses collecting their annual bonus checks. It's gonna take a lot more death an destruction before anything is done about this issue, or any of the other issues plaguing this piece of shit.
