Usually, anything slated to breakdown on the newest generation of +General Motors Chevrolet Corvette tends to advance in a slow motion, considerably slower than other GM vehicles, those that use similar or identical components but are actually driven daily instead of the usual geriatric to and from cars and coffee funeral processions oh so typical to the majority of Corvette buyers.
Thus, it took a while since this blog described a high likelihood of catastrophic failures of the Eton TVS1740 superchargers but it seems like formerly extatic buyers of the latest Corvette flagship, C7 Z06 have finally arrived to that point, experiencing rather rapidly multiplying supercharger failures.
As previously described, the sound of marbles coming from under the supercharger cover is finally heard by the car owners, sending them once again to the service line at their local GM dealership, hoping someone competent will be handling the car.
Unfortunately, these supercharger failures will continue since GM has no intention whatsoever to upgrade the superchargers with higher quality components or God forbid, put a real supercharger in place of the little hair dryer currently occupying space under the hood of the latest GM flagship.
