7:29:60 Nurburgring laptime for 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and crickets for 2017 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Grand Sport and Z06

Apparently the tradition of +General Motors Camaro team going to Germany, completing a full lap and then disclosing it to the public while only crickets can be heard from +Tadge Juechter and his team continues as expected, for 2017.

To be clear, the 7:18 time porker Z06 put down at Nurburgring, the same time that appeared like a meteor on GM website and disappeared faster than anyone could say HEAT SINK, is not bad for Corvette.  In fact the time bests the ZR1 time but... at the same time, it is right down embarrassing when considering times 2010 Dodge Viper ACR and Nissan GTR Nismo managed at that track, with less power.

So... as the ailing Corvette flagship continues to soldier on, the newest generation of Camaro continues to embarrass the "CERTIFIED SUPERCAR" crew and Corvette marketing department.
