Typical Corvette buyers and owners

Although typically, membership in AARP goes hand in hand with Corvette ownership, there are slightly younger buyers as well.  Typically, they are overweight and either bald or balding, rich in insecurities and low self esteem.   These things can be easily observed from visiting sites like CorvetteForum.com, especially their C7 section.

Saying they are chubby and bald real lookers is not being rude, it is the truth.  Although it does explain quite well why ingress and egress and flat seats characterize C7 like they did C5 and C6.

 

Same goes for their salesman, I guess someone who calls himself Mike Furman and makes his fine living by selling Corvettes at some dealership called +Criswell Chevrolet ?

 

 

Now, what makes this story very funny, in addition to the car these two guys drove to look at Corvettes (the big old Cadillac that seems like a perfect fit for them and this salesman) is the fact they are from Norway, of all places.  Honestly, they fit right in with the rest of the Corvette crowd and explain very well why new Corvette is more about looks than performance and why there no bolsters on new Corvette seats.
