Another Corvette C7 Stingray design flaw-more problems with the differential (leaky leaky)

Just like there was not enough problems with the differential such as eLSD faulty solenoids and routing underfilling of the differential with the fluid and SERVICE REAR AXLE warning lights coming on for no apparent reason, there is another problem related to the rear differential in a form of a design flaw.  What is the flaw?

Well, in its apparent drive to force new Corvette owners with their dealership service departments, +General Motors team led by +Tadge Juechter  decided to revert to leaky O-rings on the half shafts connecting the differential with the rear wheels.  Like with C5, the lack of proper machining of the differential housing causes the O-rings to leak differential fluid right around the half shafts.

Now, General Motors managed to correct the problem on the previous, C6 generation of Corvette but somehow felt the owners may get too bored not counting the days before the half shafts start leaking.

So... if the new owners get too bored just dealing with shoddy paint, misaligned body panels and interior trim, no worries.  +Tadge Juechter  apparently recalled how much fun C5 owners had with their cars leaking fluid around the half shafts and decided to bless the C7 owners with the same great fun.  Great job as usual Tadge.
