Total Corvette C7 Humiliation at Daytona 24 hour race-DO NOT USE CAMARO TAIL LIGHTS ON CORVETTE RACE CARS!!!

To make clear:  Corvette Daytona Prototype in no way resembles anything even close to street Corvette or even Corvette C7R!!!

This so called Corvette is only a Corvette by name.  Yes, this car uses a reduced displacement version of LS7 motor but this motor is not available in C7 Corvette, only Camaro Z28 gets it.  To add insult to injury, LS7 motor in the Daytona Prototype uses multiport fuel injection from C6 generation of Corvette (the "obsolete" version).  Otherwise, the Daytona Prototype uses a superior Coyote chassis and non GM brakes and transmission.  In other words, the current Camaro Z28 is closer to the Corvette than this Daytona Prototype.

The real humiliation comes from no other but the brand new Corvette C7R.  Gotta love the fact that the even though C7R is powered by downsized C6 LS7 engine, the only part that Corvette C7R uses from Corvette C7 Stingray, the direct injection system caused at least one of the cars to  break down several times, making FIFTH place as good as it got in GTLM class for Corvette C7R.

What does this mean?  There is only one logical answer: Corvette C7 Stingray and all technologies it uses are a complete failure, totally worthless when performance is considered and had it not been for Corvette C6 LS7 contribution, there would be bicyclists finishing the 24 hour race before anyone could see a Corvette of any form and shape finishing this rain.

What is the biggest irony of all?  The Daytona Prototype uses the ROUND TAIL LIGHTS instead of Camaro lights.  +Tadge Juechter , it sucks to be you!!!
