Necessity is the mother of most inventions and apparently the frustration over very persistent orange peel on all Stingrays motivates people who refuse to live in state of denial to some truly ingenious ways to hide this very visible flaw.
In this case, and as suggested in the past, a full body wrap takes care of orange peel and keeps it away from being seen by innocent bystanders who may be emotionally scared for life.
This particular wrap is even more clever than the typical less blingy usual wraps. Not only this shiny wrap hides all of the paint quality defects but it also allows the owner to occupy a permanent spot in the parking lot of the nearest Auto Zone or Pep Boys to gratify the store customers.
+Tadge Juechter should really take notice of this approach and offer it as a factory option. Not only would this prevent buyers from complaining about crappy paint and cracked fenders but it would improve the perception of quality of the new Corvette. Of course, the body wrap option should be available only when installed by a private installer, as soon as UAW crew tried to install it, the product would be botched beyond any repair.
