Is 2015 Corvette C7 using flux capacitor in lieu of E85 (ethanol) fuel option to produce more horsepower?

When Corvette C7 and its new "revolutionary" LT1 engine using direct injection came about, +Tadge Juechter routinely spouted off about new Corvette's ability to use E85 fuel as a secret weapon to increase new car's horsepower.

Then, all of the sudden, the notion of ethanol fuel option went away, in spite of the alleged measure that were taken to allow the new engine to utilize it.  No further explanation was ever provided and this engineering failure, among so many others, proudly ended up in Tadge Juechter's bullshit filing cabinet, right next to the "super light aluminum frame" of undisclosed strength that resulted in the C7 Stingray being a Camaro like porker, when compared to the previous C6 Corvette using obsolete steel frame.

Apparently Tadge and his ego as usual, refused to acknowledge another engineering humiliation and instead decided to rely on the ole faithful Stingray buying bunch to spend their time waxing their cars and spend money on highly questionable and warranty voiding aftermarket (looney) tunes to compensate for this particular engineering failure.

Yes, in spite of those millions of hours allegedly spent optimizing direct injection to deliver outstanding performance, the +General Motors  gave up on developing software that would allow to accommodate E85 fuel and take advantage of its  horsepower increasing potential.  Incidentally, even now, there is not a single aftermarket "tuner" that figured out how to utilize ethanol either which speaks volumes of the new fuel system flexibility (pun fully intended ).

Fast forward to 2014 and Corvette C7 Z06 announcement.  Surprise, surprise, Tadge Juechter spins the bullshit as usual.  A heavier car, with less horsepower will somehow outpace not just the previous Z06 but the almighty ZR1 as well.   Strangely enough, this time, there is E85 bait being thrown at the gullible Corvette buyers and this is the time when it really should be used, to at least come up equal in horsepower with the car it supposedly supersedes.  Apparently Tadge and his crew still cannot figure out how to update the engine fuel system software?

Here is a thought for Tadge Juechter:  just announce that the new Z06 uses a flux capacitor, good for a few gigawatts to compensate for ethanol and horsepower failures.  Not like it will really matter to the Corvette sheep, for them, the performance of their cars is not a matter of science, engineering and facts-it is a matter of BELIEF.  Come on Tadge, spin the truth again.  Has the time for Nurburgring lap time come yet?  No doubt that the new Z06 will obliterate all other cars at the ring, as soon as the flux capacitor kicks in.  LOL
