Another Corvette C7 Stingray recall joins the General Motors recall pile up

As it stands currently, +General Motors announced over TWENTY MILLIONS worth of vehicle recalls.  The staggering numbers are mind boggling and even more so considering there are new recalls with just about each new day.

The latest recall nominees are over 392,000 pick up trucks and once again, Corvette C7 Stingray.

This recall once again shows the non existent quality control on assembly line of Bowling Green plant and indicates serious issues with the "light weight" aluminum frame.

Apparently, the rear suspension fell off this car for a reason: the defective welds in the rear suspension mounting points of the frame.  The fact that the wrecked car was bought back by GM and the owner was forced to remain silent on the resolution of the problem clearly indicates that the same old mentality of cover up is alive and kicking at GM, in spite of Mary Barra's assurance that things have change.

Has it not been for the ongoing recall madness at GM, there is a very good chance that the problems with the new frame would be hidden from the public and it would take several fatalities before the recall would be issued.

Well, the shit hit the fan, the problems with the new frame are real and any of the newest Corvettes can very well become the proud owner's last and very final ride.

Are there any other problems +Tadge Juechter refuses to disclose until there is a spectacular crash and injury?  Chances are very good that this is exactly the case.  The warning to buyer regarding buyer being aware just gained whole new dimension and transformed into warning that typically can be found on a pack of cigarettes.
