More examples of Corvette C7 Stingray horrible assembly quality and absolute lack of quality control

If the UAW members hired to assemble the new Corvette Stingray at Bowling Green plant were devoting even a fraction of their time to doing the job they were hired to do instead of minding their union business, maybe then, +Tadge Juechter could provide some actual evidence to support his claims regarding new standard of quality the Stingray was supposed to create.

As it is, it is very clear that nobody gives a flying about the quality or employee pride as long as the newest plastic fantastic continues to roll off the assembly line.  The people not giving flying are also the folks responsible for quality control at the plant, all the way to the corporate headquarters.

The number of examples of shoddy assembly quality and fit and finish is truly staggering and even though many of these things would not be highly visible on their own, when combined together, paint the newest Corvette as a sad example of an overhyped piece of shit riding high on marketing but falling short in real life when looked upon closely.

A simple thing like alignment of exhaust tips is another area where expecting a decent quality is asking way too much from the unionized crew and the management at Corvette assembly plant.

The problem is very common and certainly very visible.  Even though this is strictly a cosmetic issue, still, it is very visible and certainly not a confidence builder for anyone considering purchase of the newest Corvette.

How hard would it be to line up the tips and make them presentable?  It seems that much harder than for employees assembling Porsche, BMW, Honda or even Kia.  The sad truth about the new Corvette is that if there happened to be an example with acceptable quality, it is an exception instead of a rule.
