Another 8.4 million of General Motors recalled cars raises doubts about sanity of Corvette C7 Stingray buyers

Mary Barra must be on a proverbial roll, considering there is another 8.4 MILLION of cars being recalled, dating back to 1990's.  This latest recall creates not just another financial burden on General Motors and worries for its stakeholders but it also renders any warranty repairs done in a timely fashion a quintessential pipe dream.

The stupidity of Mary Barra and her corporate handlers is very obvious, reaching out to current owners of 20 year old cars puts them in the same service lines where Corvette buyers are present on daily basis.

To say that attempting to fix old cars, retrofitting them with new cars after most of them have been rigged and hacked just to keep them on the road would be a serious understatement.  There is no doubt that most of these cars will be like can of worms, only to be opened by the +General Motors dealers mechanics who would be otherwise spending their time dealing with issues plaguing modern GM cars, including that so called "flagship" Stingray that seemingly spends more time waiting for a tow truck or for part at the dealer than on the road.   With the millions of cars added to the recall roster, already dreadful visits to the incompetent dealers will turn into real nightmares for the buyers.

Now, the question is, is it even necessary to question the sanity of anyone interested in purchasing the newest plastic fantastic turd in light of the perpetual service bay bottlenecks?  This is a strictly rhetorical question of course.
