This is another outcome of all sorts of issues plaguing the latest edition of Corvette, something that certainly +General Motors marketing team and +Tadge Juechter did not envision happening at the time the newest Corvette was introduced.
Fortunately, Car and Driver's car did not catch on fire and the subsequent engine replacement (not described in this article) is still holding up, at least for a while (until warranty voiding track use is determined as the cause or warranty expires, whichever may come first).
Rubbing elbows with the owners of Cobalts and Impalas and countless other GM products being recalled certainly creates a great social opportunity for Corvette Stingray buyers to mingle-considerably more entertaining than the typical cars and coffee or Saturday night bingo, LOL.
