As LT1 engine failures continue to grow, Corvette C7 Stingray redefined the term BLOWN motor

In the past, the term "blown" was typically associated with forced air induction set up on Corvettes, usually supercharged.  Courtesy of increasing number of self destructing LT1 motors, this is changing and in a hurry.

No longer can the blown Vette motor phrase  be used when described a drag strip monster.  These days, a blown Corvette Stingray means a car like this one

and with the motor looking like this

This is of course not a good situation for +General Motors  since a stock motor that obliterated itself means warranty expenses and at this rate, healthy lawyer fees as lawsuits against General  Motors start coming in.  As with these "blown" motors, it is not the matter of IF but WHEN, regarding lawyers becoming interested in these massive engine failures.
