Corvette C7 designation should be changed-from Stingray to TITANIC, with Tadge Juechter at the helm

The analogy between the seventh generation of Corvette and Titanic is rather obvious by now.  The arrogance of  +Tadge Juechter equals only that of Captain Edward J. Smith while the Corvette ship is sinking fast, with the band of +General Motors  nut huggers playing their last song.

Over 2000 2015 Corvette Stingrays have been put on INDEFINITE hold while Captain Juechter scrams for solutions, without even identifying the actual problems.

What is unsettling here is that the buyers are the ones paying the price for inept leadership and incompetence of Corvette engineering team.  The irony is that buyers are put on hold waiting for a mass produced car, with many others being delivered while they wait.

The scary and unsettling part is: why there are only 2000 cars identified instead of the entire production run?  If there are problems, the solutions should be applicable to ALL produced Corvettes, not just 2000 marked by the GM.  What about if GM missed a few?  Shouldn't the solutions and upgraded parts be applicable to all produced Stingrays?

The level of consumer confidence in the newest Corvette continues to decline, sinking just like the proverbial Titanic.  Seems like this would be a great time to rename the Stingray to Titanic, being honest about the seventh generation of Corvette sinking fast.  Just like Titanic, the Stingray has been advertised by its chief creator as the tip of the newest technologies, big, overweight and defying laws of physics and common sense.  Just like the Titanic, the unsinkable, the Stingrays are breaking down all the time now, with fatal engine failures becoming daily occurrence.

The honeymoon is over for Stingray, well before the next porker Z06 is even released, seems like this would be a great time for Juechter and bailout, the iceberg is straight ahead.
