The sleaziness of +Tadge Juechter and +General Motors is all out in the open. The owner of the Stingray that not only exploded it motor but also sent its owner running for his life just got fucked over in the worst possible way, being flatly denied warranty claim to address this truly frightening failure of his freshly purchased car.
As described here , the owner of the car dared to take it to a high performance DRIVING EDUCATION TRAINING and while driving the car at 98 MILES PER HOUR (with the instructor in the car), had most likely the worst car related experience of the life time. This burning car nightmare just got worse for him because apparently GM does not feel that the car was used properly, in accordance with the warranty guidelines, specified by GM.
Hopefully the car owner has enough brains to go not just after the GM but also Tadge Juechter personally since this douchebag is personally responsible for leading buyers on with his claims of Corvette Juechter.
The denial of this claim is not a surprise, the warranty for Stingray regarding "other than expected use" is cleverly written, certainly giving GM plenty of leeway to fuck anyone over outside of highway speed limit cruising and cars and coffee crowds. However, there is a little problem with fraudulent advertisements leading buyers on believing the car is actually capable of performance claimed by Juechter. In these days of information access, denial of this claim is as stupid as it could get. Anyone buying Corvette after what just happened cannot kid themselves they bought a high performance car.
Certainly this attitude toward buyers is as brilliant as PR can get. Tadge Juechter, instead delivering a replacement car to the poor sucker just showed him the middle finger instead.
