The seventh generation of Corvette turns out to be even a worse piece of shit during its second year of production than during its first year of production. Unlike with other car makers, problems continue to show up in the second year, certainly not raising confidence in buyers.
Mary Barra, the queen of recalls added about 3k of 2015 Stingrays to the list of unsafe +General Motors turds.
The recalls involve side airbags and emergency brake assembly, both flawed and either fully incapacitated or working half ass at its own will.
While the number appears to insignificant, given millions of other GM cars being recalled, these latest Stingray recalls are pretty alarming and disturbing due to the fact that GM offers no parts or fixes to take care of the problems. The fact that this car is the Chevrolet's flagship and at least according to +Tadge Juechter , a product of lengthy research and development and pinnacle of GM's latest technologies, it is as flawed as any other GM car.
The kicker here is that the dealers who have about 700 of them on lots and unsold, cannot sell them because of NO SALE GM directive. The other kicker is that over 2000 2015's that were already sold become their owners responsibility since GM has no parts or clue how to fix them.
So what now for the owners? Driving the cars with active safety recalls is never a good idea, should anything happen, the owner will be liable since GM did its part and never mind there are no parts to fix these turds.
Of course if base Stingray is such a disaster, what will happen with the Z06? Will they be sitting at the factory, Nashville interment camp or on dealer lots while GM scrams to fix whatever will be wrong with it? As long as nothing catches on fire, there should be no real problem, LOL.
