A string of bullshit cover up stories continues to follow Corvette C7 Stingray and Z06

There is no doubt that the newest generation of Corvette continues to impress.  No... these cars do not impress with spectacular performance figures or design refinements, what is really impressive about the newest generation of Corvette is the continuous string of bullshit cover up stories coming from +General Motors Team Corvette led by the chief story teller and bullshit spinner, +Tadge Juechter .

Here is the chronology of bullshit fairy tales and fact spinning chronology:

1. Juechter announces one of the most convoluted stories regarding new aluminum frame stiffness and weight.  Absolutely not a single disclosure of actual rigidity and stiffness numbers has ever been disclosed.  The frame reduction failed to produce VEHICLE WEIGHT REDUCTION, in fact, the car is close to 200 pounds heavier than its obsolete base predecessor.

2. Juechter releases 0-60 and quarter mile for the new car, "forgetting" to mention that manual transmission may lead slightly more disappointing results.

3. Juechter "forgets" to disclose car's top speed-a case of permanent amnesia.

4.  General Motors announces "supplier related" rear differential lack of fluid recall, "forgetting" about the final assembly quality control procedure that no longer involves check and fill up of all vehicle fluids before randomly chosen new Corvettes are test driven prior to delivery departure (apparently no longer applicable to the seventh generation of Corvette).

5. General Motors engine oil capacity for Stingrays equipped with (semi) dry sump system.  Once again, Juechter's engineering team "forgets" to mention the inadequate PCV system as the capacity limiter-first one in Corvette's history.

6. Corvette C7 Stingray fails to complete Nurburgring lap run-wet track and rainy weather cited as the reason for lack of lap time (several laps completed though).  The concurrent Camaro Z28 Nurburgring run (results disclosed immediately) missed by the Corvette team due to camouflaged exterior of the tested Camaro.

7.  Car and Driver engine self destruction blamed on "defective" oil filter.  Tadge Juechter "forgets" to announce results of internal investigation and present analysis of the famed one of a kind oil filter.

8. The fastest ever shifting 8 speed automatic transmission requires a second cooler in order to shift in the newest Z06.

9. General Motors issues TSB regarding mandatory first oil change for Corvette Stingrays equipped with dry sump system.  The cause for the additional oil change cited as mystery compounds in the silicone sealants used during engine assembly blamed for extra foam in the engine oil.

This latest bullshit story is as good as the case of defective oil filters chunking out miniature grenades blowing up the engine.   Yes Tadge, no doubt those mystery sealants are specifically developed for the engines using dry sump.  God forbid overfilling of the engine oil would have anything to do with foaming and oil spewing out all over the engine compartment and Zaino polished floor of Corvette enthusiasts garages (freaking them out completely(.
