2016 Ford Mustang GT350 factory test that should finally inspire General Motors and Tadge Juechter regarding Corvette C7 Stingray and Z06

Ford seems to have a considerably more comprehensive way of testing their high performance vehicles than +General Motors .  Of course, there is no surprise here since any so called "testing" done by +Tadge Juechter and his team (America?) never extends beyond results that could be used in the next sales brochure to somehow create at least an illusion of superiority but still, isn't about time for Juechter to finally get a fucking clue and really test the newest generation of Corvette?

Here is a test that cannot obviously apply to any of the newest Corvettes, not because it cannot take the cold but because in his great wisdom, Juechter decided that Corvette can be driven only during warmer weather and equipped it with Summer Only tires.  Yes,  the performance figures should be better on softer compound tires but only when the weather is accommodating.

Kudos to Ford for at least having some integrity here and actually testing  the upcoming GT350 under adverse conditions instead of resorting to the bullshit excuses Juechter never seems to run out.

The big irony here is that the newest Corvettes, including both Stingray and Z06 perform better in colder weather so real Catch-22 here for GM.  Maybe Juechter is working on a high performance studded version of Z06 tires to alleviate the continuing overheating and heat soak saga that somehow took a permanent possession of the newest Z06?
